The route
Off the M2 to the crossing — Dover or Eurotunnel, down through France and across Spain — then the full drive down through France, across Spain, and over the western border into Portugal. It’s the longest single road route of the four, planned around driver hours and the two national borders it crosses, so nothing about the timing is left to chance.
